lyrics

HURT FOR TWO ©

Everything I wanna do, I have to stop and think of you
But I am tired gambling, on a hand I’ll never win
Cause nothing ever goes to plan, I’m giving up you’re giving in
Stubborn as the day is long, and we are
But I am tired wondering, just over which heart I’m stumbling

So why do we make it hard, trying just to get along
I am not the bullet nor the wound
Or strong enough to hurt for two
Trying just to fix it up, when all that our everything is not enough
I’m not the bullet nor the wound, or strong enough to hurt for two

Everything you wanna know, I volunteer and sweep my soul
But aren’t you tired gathering, evidence to trap me in

So why do we make it hard, trying just to get along
I’m not the bullet nor the wound, or strong enough to hurt for two
Trying just to fix it up, when all that our everything is not enough
I am not the bullet nor the wound, or strong enough to hurt for two

You the song, I used to sing – we lost the music in between
So much of you remains in me – impossible to stay, or leave

So why do we make it hard, trying just to get along
I’m not the bullet nor the wound, or strong enough to hurt for two
Trying just to fix it up, when all that our everything is not enough
I’m not the bullet nor the wound, or strong enough to hurt for two
